Encounter
Sometimes it’s so easy to forget that meeting Jesus is all there is to it. It’s easy to get into the swing of doing things, but it doesn’t mean a thing if it doesn’t lead to an encounter with Him. It took a whole year for it to hit home so hard. It’s not to invalidate anything, but leading a biosphere felt like flying around up in the air not knowing where we were going until we just crash landed into His heart. A glimpse of Him was all that mattered. It was the simple things that tore into my heart, that melted it. Plain melodies and broken refrains offered without any instruments echoing against hollow walls, but He was there, so beautiful, loving and worthy. How can I stand here with You and not be moved? Would you tell me how could it be any better than.. this? God.. it was amazing, but I know it’s just dipping my toes into the ocean.
It is from the place of encounter that everything changes, that you have something to offer to the world. It always begins with meeting Him.
